Welcome MEDA 5400 - Summer 2014 Bloggers!

Welcome to the course, MEDA 5400!

This course is described in the course catalog as follows:  Foundations of instructional technology appropriate to educational applications, including computers, other related media, and instructional design. This course stresses knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed to implement and manage technology in educational environments. Hands-on experience is provided through the course projects. Students in this course plan, implement, and evaluate educational technology for use in education.
This course, typically taught in 15 weeks will be condensed into 5 weeks for a shorter course for the summer--the assignments will remain the same in number though, so be prepared to work intensely over the next few weeks.  Great to have you in class!

Welcome MEDA 5400 Spring 2013 Bloggers!

This blog has been the location of blogs for this course for several semesters.  This will be the first experience some of you have had with blogs, so it will take some time to work on your blog to get it just the way you want it to appear.  The blog will 'house' most of your assignments from this course and serve as a type of electronic portfolio.  It will allow you to place all of your work in one spot as a final project for the class.  The initial blog assignment will be simply to create the blog, add the sections (tabs or list items) outlined in the directions for this week, and have everything ready for your assignments as you complete them. You have three previous semesters of blogs to review for examples of the projects we will be completing as well. Take some time to review what others have completed here before you.

Welcome Fall 2012 MEDA 5400 Students!

This blog will be your 'spot' as a group to share your blogs created as an electronic portfolio during our class.  The great thing is that you have a wealth of examples here from previous semesters as well as an opportunity to see what others in our group have created while we are in this course together.  Enjoy!
